It was established 20th May, 1998 as liner agency, which provided full set of liner service for container Line connecting the ports of Saint-Petersburg and Rotterdam.
Presently Delta Shipping Agency is
- a port clearance agent of “Delta Shipping Lines” in the port of St.Petersburg with 10-12calls of liner vessels monthly
- a ship agent of “BBC Chartering and Logistics GmbH and Co. KG” in the ports of St.Petersburg and transit Agent to Astrakhan.
- ship agents of other ship-owners and principals
- a company with its own chartering department, project logistics, having rich experience in organization of transportation of project cargoes and barging.

Delta Shipping Agency acting as a Shipping Agent in Saint-Petersburg will:
- act as representatives on behalf of companies who require an agent to protect their interests at ports of Saint-Petersburg and in inner waterways of any direction.
- act as a mediator between the Cargo owners, Ship owners, Shippers, Consignee, Stevedores.
- organize shipping documentation, issue of cargo, customs and other carriers documents, help clear goods through customs, tally cargo, help elaborate a ship's cargo plan and co-ordinate it with Stevedores, take care of speeding up cargo operations.
- advise on customs and on any other rules and regulations issued by Port Authorities and Transport Ministry of Russian Federation.
- prepare pro-forma of disbursement account, settle payments, update cost estimates, receive, register and process invoices from suppliers, compile and forward disbursement account, settle balances.
- assist in the settlement of any dispute or claim and help the Ship Мaster to engage the services of state institution for the protection of Ship owners or Ship Charterers interests.
- arrange tugs, pilot service, mooring, safe berth, bunker fuel, spare parts, repairing, supervision by the Register or diver survey, fresh water, food, laundry services to be made available to vessels calling at Saint-Petersburg ports.
- at the Ship owners' or Master's request arrange sanitary or quarantine inspections, book medical services, repatriation service to the crew of the vessel, arrange invitation for business visa, book hotel, transfer, tickets.
